A word from the Lord

I was sure by now, God, that You would have reached down

Good to know I'm not the only one who God talks to through song! 

There is a guy who has been staying with my family the past month or so, who is from Louisiana. He is a friend of Jason, my younger brother, and a musician who recently got offered a job here. Colton, this gentleman, has become like a little brother to me.

Well, he has been involved in my trip to Africa and the financial struggle. This afternoon, I got a text message from him about the song I put up. He is back home in LA and said he was talking to his mom about my trip to Zimbabwe and the money situation when this song came on. He said he started realizing what the lyrics were saying and (Amber paraphrase) God showed him that through this season, that God is holding me in his hands through it and that everything will work itself out.

Really?! How encouraging is that! Not only that Colton would listen to what the Lord was saying and share it; but that God showed THAT to him! Seriously? God is working, guiding and providing for me! Thank you Colton for being attentive to the Lord and sharing what he has shown you! Each one of my PIT crew have the freedom (and encouragement) to share anything with me the Lord is showing you! Sometimes God speaks to and through other people and I'm open for the Lord's voice in whatever avenue it comes from. Thank you for your constant prayers and encouragement! God is doing something HUGE and I'm just excited to be apart of it!!
